UAFP supports information modeling and traceability to IEPPV model elements using the IEPPV-defined elements: Message, SemanticElement, and FilteredSemanticElement, used to represent data, properties/attributes, structure, format, and relationships. The IEPPV profile enables the specification of the policies, rules and constraints governing the packaging (assembly, transformation, marking, redaction) of data elements conforming to information sharing and safeguarding requirements. The IEPPV profile also governs the processing (parsing, transformation, and marshalling) received information and data element.
